Bollnäs Trailrace was started in 2013 by the "running guru," inspirer, trainer, and coach Göran Winblad and was organized until 2017. After a few years of hiatus, Rehns BK relaunched the race in 2023. The ninth edition of the race will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, featuring more distances and course options for all age groups – from 1 year to 65+. The main event, Trail 10, offers expansive views from the small Bolleberg peak and a challenge with the Stora Bolleberg hill, which has an elevation gain of 105 meters over 720 running meters before it descends towards the enchanting Bolletjärn.
